An expert in foreign exchange risk management, Rita Sislak provides cash management services to lighting companies on an international level

With an impressive work history dating back 17 years, Ms. Sislak serves as the EMEA treasurer at GE Lighting Services Limited, a manufacturing company providing lighting products and solutions in Europe, the Middle East and Africa. During her 17-year career, she has developed an expertise in foreign exchange risk management, cash management and gained experience on cross border cash pool, in-house banking and payment factory implementation. Her unique knowledge of the field has enabled her to effectively manage net investment exposures, as well as profit and loss FX exposures for 31 lighting companies in the EMEA region. She has served in her current position for six years, and previously worked as a treasurer for Primagaz Hungary, IBM Hungary and Royal Philips Electronics Central Europe.
A standout amongst her peers, Ms. Sislak has been honored with a Management Award. She remains current in field trends by being involved in the European Association of Corporate Treasurers. Furthermore, she serves as the co-founder of the Hungarian Corporate Treasurers Association. She earned a Bachelor of Corporate Finance and Accounting, with an emphasis in industrial corporate finance, bank management and central budgeting, from the College for Finance and Accountancy (Budapest Business School). As her career progresses, Ms. Sislak plans to move up the corporate ladder within GE Company.
