Jordan Watkins brings maritime experience to Virginia Economic Development Partnership
NORFOLK, VA, August 12, 2011 /Finance PR News/ -- Jordan A. Watkins, International Trade Manager for Virginia Economic Development Partnership, has been selected as a VIP member by Cambridge Who's Who for showing dedication, leadership and excellence in international trade.
A veteran of the maritime industry, Ms. Watkins brings invaluable logistics know-how to VEDP, an agency that facilitates international trade and business throughout Virginia. Noted for her expertise in sales as well as logistics, she is entrusted with a number of important tasks as international trade manager. She marks her second year in this capacity, and is responsible for assisting in export marketing and conducting research on target markets, product classification, pricing, competition and trade requirements. With a hand in sundry aspects of her profession, Ms. Watkins attributes her success to the diverse skill set that she acquired from working in various industries.
Ms. Watkins currently serves as the President of the International Propeller Club, Port of Norfolk. She is also active with the Virginia International Business Council, Hampton Roads Global Commerce Council and The Organization of Women in International Trade. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in English from Ferrum College.
