BRADBURY, CA, August 12, 2011 /Finance PR News/ -- Gregory Y. Kawasaki, Chief Technology Officer of Infrastructure Services for Computer Sciences Corporation, has been recognized by Cambridge Who's Who for showing dedication, leadership and excellence in technology management.
Drawing on 30 years of professional experience, Mr. Kawasaki masterfully serves as the chief technology officer of infrastructure services for Computer Sciences Corporation. Specializing in infrastructure design and business service management, he proficiently implements complex infrastructure, and oversees both global manufacturing operations and supply chain management. Furthermore, he oversees business and infrastructure implementations for resource planning and global multimodal transport, financial service systems and medical payee/payor provider systems (both commercial and government)
Prior to joining CSC, Mr. Kawasaki served as a senior consultant for NCR Corporation and AT&T, Inc., as well as vice president of Avnet, Inc. He also functioned as an internal IT auditor for10 years. Throughout the duration of his career, Mr. Kawasaki has designed and managed deployments for health care providers, pharmaceutical providers, financial and medical clearing houses.
Mr. Kawasaki earned a Bachelor of Science in information technology from California State Polytechnic University, Pomona in 1982. A certified information security manager, he holds certification in information technology management and leadership from Cornell University. Committed to the industry, he is an affiliate of the Information Security Community Group and the Mainframe Experts Network Group.
In recognition of his work, Mr. Kawasaki was recently named a VIP of the Year by Cambridge Who's Who. This special distinction honors individuals who have shown commitment to achieving personal and professional success. Mr. Kawasaki has also received formal recognition from the Association for Computing Machinery and Who's Who in America. He was honored with the Andy Galat Technology Career Award from CSC, Technology Innovation Award from AT&T, and is a Member of CSC Distinguished Architecture Program. In the years ahead, he intends to contribute to the conversion of information technology infrastructure from a cost center to a profit center.
