Mr. Jakel, who attributes his success to his persistence, retired in 2007 following a stroke. He is frequently occupied with casino gambling and has extensive knowledge about blackjack and other table games. This has led to his gaining numerous awards in card gaming. In the near future, Mr. Jakel intends to write his memoirs.
