Merrilee Elliott manages eight senior-level managers
IRVINE, CA, October 05, 2011 /Finance PR News/ -- Merrilee Elliott, Business Unit Manager of North American Programs for Eaton Aerospace, has been recognized by Cambridge Who's Who for showing dedication, leadership and excellence in senior management.
Merrilee Elliott was named to her current position in May 2010. Previously, she was the Site Program Manager in Euclid, Ohio. She joined Argo-Tech Corporation in January 2005 and was promoted in May 2006 to Program Manager II Platform Programs. In 2009, she accepted the position of Site Program Manager. Prior to joining Argo-Tech, Merrilee was Manager Contracts & Customer Support for Lear Romec, Crane Aerospace Operations. Merrilee holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Marketing from Bowling Green State University (Bowling Green, Ohio) and is a member of the Project Management Institute.
As the business unit manager of North American programs for Eaton Aerospace, Merrilee manages eight senior-level managers and is responsible for the successful execution of the Platform and Division's site NPD projects and budget allocation. Additionally, she leads the Platform, Site and Business Unit Program Management and Integrated Product Team(s) to drive customer satisfaction, continuous improvement and life of the program financial performance by managing customer programs, contracts, and business relationships. In years to come, she hopes to advance within program management and explore opportunities in acquisitions.
Outside of work, Merrilee volunteers with the Special Olympics and United Way Worldwide and enjoys participating in outdoor and fitness activities as well as traveling.
