City of Santa Clarita purchases 528 acres previously proposed for development as parkland thanks to collaboration between conservation and residential brokers
The 528-acre parcel is located north of Copper Hill Drive and east of Haskell Canyon Road on the city�EUR s northern border with the County of Los Angeles.
SAN DIEGO, CA, July 14, 2011 /Finance PR News/ -- A property previously proposed for residential development has been purchased for $3.1 million by the City of Santa Clarita for inclusion in the city's park and open space system. The 528-acre parcel is located north of Copper Hill Drive and east of Haskell Canyon Road on the city's northern border with the County of Los Angeles.
The seller was Santa Clarita Investors, LLC. Land Conservation Brokerage, Inc of San Diego and Land Advisors Organization - California Division co-listed the property.
"This may be the first transaction where a conservation broker and a residential land broker teamed up to help the seller receive the widest possible exposure," said Ann Van Leer of Land Conservation Brokerage, Inc.
